Assessment and Testing Information for Homeschoolers

Homeschoolers can choose to have their child take the traditional tests like the public schooled children or they can choose to have the child(ren) assessed.

New Heights can put you in contact with both Certified teachers and Non-traditional teachers for assessments. Assessment and testing can be done in the Paulding, Defiance, Wauseon, Napoleon and Archbold Area.

Homeschool Inc.

Homeschool Inc. offers you free information about compliance by state, including choices where more than one approach exists.

Each state summary includes issues related to reporting, recordkeeping, testing and evaluation, subject requirements, compulsory attendance, and more.

In addition to the free information, they offer downloadable legal workbooks for purchase that take you through the step-by-step process of legal compliance in your state. Each workbook features a detailed analysis of the local regulations, as well as the necessary forms, worksheets and directions you need to homeschool with confidence.

For additional help, they'd like to introduce you to the Christian Law Association's HELPS -

Home Educators Legal Protection Services - an organization of experienced attorneys who can provide you with practical and current advice.

For an annual donation of $99 to the CLA, you'll receive many great benefits, plus your donation may be tax deductible.
